Great Olympics announce appointment of ex-Ghana forward Yaw Preko as head coach

Accra Great Olympics have appointed ex-Ghana international Yaw Preko as the new head coach with immediate effect replacing Annor Walker.

The hierarchy of the Dade Boys had to relieve former gaffer Annor Walker of his position due to unexpected health issues.

Walker has missed the last two outings of Olympics in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

This has necessitated the appointment of former Ghana forward Yaw Preko who has vast experience in the local game to continue the duties of Walker.

The team currently placed seventh on the league table with 11 points after eight matches played in the ongoing season.
 
 
This will be Yaw Preko’s first appointment at club level since deputizing Kenichi Yatshuhachi in the 2015/16 season at Hearts of Oak.
