Goalkeeper Fatao Seidu joins Asante Kotoko from PAC Academy
1 min readAsante Kotoko SC is fortifying their squad for the forthcoming season with the addition of the 18-year-old goalkeeper, securing his services until the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, according to Bright Yeboah Taylor.
The talented shot-stopper, Fatao Seidu, has officially joined the ranks of Asante Kotoko during the ongoing transfer window. Hailing from the newly-promoted Division One League side PAC Academy, Seidu brings his skills to the two-time CAF Champions League titleholders.
This acquisition positions Seidu as the fourth goalkeeper on Asante Kotoko’s roster, joining the ranks of Danlad Ibrahim, Frederick Asare, and Moise Pouaty in the club’s goalkeeping department.
Notably, Asante Kotoko has been active in the current transfer window, securing the signings of Nanabayin Amoah, Yahaya Dawuni, Yussif Mohammed Nurudeen, Henry Ansu, Kalo Ouattara, Andrews Ntim Manu, and Bernard Somuah.
Under the guidance of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, the team is currently engaged in preparations at Nsuta Beposo as they gear up for the 2023/24 season’s campaign. Their opening fixture will see them face Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
