Ghanaian giants Hearts Of Oak announce the signing of Isaac Mensah
1 min readAccra Hearts Of Oak have announced the signing of teenage striker Isaac Mensah.
The young attacker joined the Ghanaian giants in a three-year deal from Division One League side Nkoranza Warriors after a fruitful negotiations.
Mensah commenced his career at Royals FC at Konongo in the Ashanti Region before switching to the second-tier side.
He is expected to join his teammates when football in the West African country resumes. At the moment, football activities are frozen due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic which has forced the Ghana Football Association to annul the 2019-20 football season.
Speaking after completing his deal, Mensah told the Phobians’ Media that he will work hard to repose the trust imposed in him by the club.
‘“I am very happy to have signed for a huge club like Hearts of Oak and, I cannot wait to get started with my new teammates”, Mensah told Hearts Media after signing.
“It is every young players’ dream to play for a big club at the highest level and I want to help the club win trophies and leave a good imprint at the club.”
“I want to make the fans happy with good performances and, I will work hard to repose the trust imposed in me by the team.”
Ghana’s new season is tentatively set for second week of October when the government of Ghana gives the green light for the resumption of football in the country.
