Ghanaian footballer dies in Bangladesh

Ghanaian footballer, Frank Ntim Twum has been declared dead after a short illness in Bangladesh Friday morning.
Doctors have mentioned that Ntim Twum died of ‘Septic shock’ while under treatment at the Chattogram Medical Hospital.
The former Tema Youth player has been in prison together with another Ghanaian footballer Richard Dzifa Appiae since January 4 after they were charged in drug-related cases.
But he fell sick and was admitted at the hospital on April 29. Sources from thr hospital indicated that Ntim Twum had slight fever and cough , for which he was admitted to the hospital.
The duo were arrested by police after they were found carrying 7,500 pieces of yaba tablets while travelling to Dhaka from Cox’s Bazar for drug smuggling inside Bangladesh.
