Ghana striker Inaki Williams nominated for La Liga Player of the Month for September

Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams has been nominated for the La Liga Player of the Month award for September due to his outstanding performances at Athletic Bilbao.

Williams has been an important player for his squad this month, scoring three goals and providing an assist in three league games.

Williams played 83 minutes against Mallorca, which resulted in a scoreless tie, but he came back to score an important goal in a 3-0 triumph over Cadiz to assist his team get back on track.

Athletic Bilbao’s recent game against Alaves, in which he scored a goal and contributed an assist in a 2-0 La Liga victory, showcased Inaki Williams’ ongoing brilliance.

Williams will compete against players like Jude Bellingham (the August winner), Robert Lewandowski, Takefuso Kubo, and Savio for the title of La Liga Player of the Month in September.

The 29-year-old forward, who switched from the Spanish national team last year, is yet to score for the Black Stars despite his excellent play for Athletic Bilbao.
