Ghana Premier League clubs to receive $5,000 each
1 min readStartimes Ghana Limited, television right owners of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) is reported to have paid the Ghana Football Association (GFA) an amount of $100,000.00 as part payment of their sponsorship deal with the association.
Reliable information gathered from the sponsors indicate that the pay per view station made the payment last week.
In view of this, each of the 18 GPL club is expected to receive a pay cheque of $5,000.00 from the GFA.
According to the information, the clubs started receiving their cheques on Monday morning, and it is expected that it will reflect in their accounts by the close of the week.
The development will ease the financial burden on the clubs in these difficult times as the GPL is on break due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
