Four Black Princesses and three Maidens have tested positive for COVID-19 – Ghana FA
1 min readThe Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has confirmed that seven national team players have tested positive for the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Two female national teams – Black Maidens and Black Princesses – were granted presidential permission to commenced camping for their respective CAF assignment scheduled for next month.

As a result, tests were conducted on the players, technical team members and officials of the two national teams.
However, four Princesses and three Maidens tested positive for the Coronavirus disease out of 61 players who have been assembled at Cape Coast since August 14, 2020.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Henry Asante Twum disclosed that the players are currently at an isolated Centre undergoing treatment.
“As it stands now seven players out of the total sixty-one in camp have tested positive for COVID-19,” he disclosed.
“Four Princesses and three Maidens have tested positive and are in isolation as we speak now.
“However, this won’t affect both coaches’ plan in anyway, ” he added.
