Partey has been in a devastating form for the Spanish La Liga outfit in the domestic league and the UEFA Champions League, and that has resulted in a wild chase for his signature by top European clubs this summer.
Reports indicate that Arsenal might be the next destination for Partey, but the former Dutch international with Ghanaian descent George Boateng has urged Partey to snub Arsenal for Manchester City.
“If you look at the situation at Manchester City they have always been looking for a replacement for Fernandinho,” the former Hull City midfielder told Citi TV.
” It will be quite a good decision if they show interest in Partey. It will be a fantastic place for him to play.”
Reports indicate Partey’s buyout clause is around €45m. Several clubs lubs including Inter Milan and Napoli have all shown interest in signing Partey this summer.
