Former AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari keen to play in the PSL next season
1 min readLegendary Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari is reportedly keen on moving to play in the South African Premier Soccer League next season.
The 35-year-old has been without a club since ending his short stint with Spanish second division outfit Albacete last year.
The former AC Milan and Inter Milan midfielder has been heavily linked to Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts Of Oak.
A few months ago, there were reports that the Phobians had signed Muntari but the hierarchy of the capital based club rubbished the purported acquisition.
But according to Africa Soccer Zone Sulley Muntari – who is a free agent – is Keen to play in the South African top-flight next season – news that will surely alert the likes of Sundowns and Pirates
Muntari has also played for Udinese, Pescara in Italy, Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna, Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and Portsmouth in England where he won the FA Cup in 2008.
The hardworking midfielder, who featured for Ghana at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments, won the Champions Leaguewith Inter Milan in 2010.
