Fifa COVID-19 relief fund: Division One League clubs to pocket $7,500 each
1 min readThe Ghana football Association has announced a sum of $360,000 has been allocated to all Division One League clubs from the FIFA Covid-19 fund.
The 48 clubs will pocket $7500 each from the fund.
An initial amount of $240k will be shared amongst the clubs this month with the remaining $120k to come in January 2021.
Each DOL club is set to pocket $5000 this month with an additional $2500 to be given in January 2021.
This latest development comes as a massive boost for club owners and is expected to ease the financial challenges the clubs may have encountered as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak bringing football activities to a standstill.
The comprehensive package is all-inclusive with every product under the FA becoming beneficiaries.
