Felix Annan vows to reclaim number one spot
1 min readAsante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has vowed to wrestle back his number one position after losing it to Kwame Baah.
Annan, 26, lost his spot after having his wedding ceremony few works into the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
He is however confident of regaining his spot when the season resumes.
“For me all my years at Kotoko I have been fighting for position and I have always given my best,” he told Kotoko Express App.
“So far as I am at the club, I’m going to fight and give my best each and every minute I step onto that field,” he added.
“So for me it is not a problem at all, it’s all about keeping on with my training and all. I will keep on fighting until I am no more at the club.”
Annan has not kept the post in the Ghana Premier League since match-day five.
He, however, got an opportunity to mann the posts for the Reds in an FA Cup against Asokwa Deportivo, where Kotoko succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.
Black Meteors goalkeeper, Kwame Baah, has been impressive sinceflogging Annan to the position – keeping 6 clean sheets in 10 games.
