FC Porto sign Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Owusu Boateng

Ghanaian youngster Kelvin Owusu Boateng has completed a loan deal to Portuguese giants FC Porto.

The 20-year-old forward joined the Primeira Liga side on a season-long loan move from CD Aves in the ongoing summer transfer after passing a mandatory medical Tuesday afternoon.

Per the agreement in the deal, the Portuguese powerhouse has the option to make the deal permanent.

Owusu Boateng joined CD Aves from Ghanaian side Right to Dream Academy in 2018. He was promoted to the team’s Under-23 side after a sterling performance with the Under-19 side where he bagged 16 goals in 32 matches in his debut season.

 
Boateng once earned a call-up to the Ghana U17 team in 2017.
