Dutch second-tier side FC Dordrecht has cancelled the loan deal of Manchester City-owned Aminu Mohammed just after two months because they were not convinced about his performance..
According to the club, te 19-year-old did not meet their expectations. The club held on to the decision despite deciding on November last year.
Mohammed was sent out to the Eerste Divisie side at the end of August to gain first team experience but had to wait for a month to join them due to visa problems.
The former WAFA playmaker made the team’s day squad just once in the home game against Helmond Sport.
FC Dordrecht head coach Claudio Braga confirmed Aminu’s departure after 1-1 draw with TOP Oss.
”In the end, Aminu turned out not to be the sort of player we were looking for,” he said. “Then it was not good for us to continue together.”
