According to Mintah, proper player management by team officials will bring out the best in the players.
He indicated that it is time Ghanaian players command respect.
“Football in Ghana is interesting but difficult as well.The attention the Europeans give to you is different from that of Ghana.The Europeans will support you when they see to you have the talent,” he opined on Sunyani-based Space FM.
“Clubs must know that, in every team, there are key players. And they need to treat them well like how the Europeans do.
“But in Ghana our problem is that, the owners can tell you that, if you don’t play, other players are ready to play.

“The team owners and administrators must know how to speak to players when those players are owed, because players are like women, when u speak to them well they will comprehend with you,” he added.
