Ex-Angel Sports analyst joins Service FM

Former Angel102.9 FM Sports analyst, Bismark Oppong Korang affectionately called OP has finally joined Sunyani-based Service Radio.

OP resigned from the Sports crew of the Sports department of the Accra-based radio station earlier this month.

The University of Cape Coast graduate, however, did not state his reasons for leaving the Angel Sports just eleven months after joining from Sun City Radio.

The affable Sports broadcast journalist has announced Service Radio as his next destination.

The Bono-based radio station work on 104.9 MHz.

OP confirmed his new move on his Facebook handle.

Service Radio has recently started test transmission in the Bono reginal capital on 104.9 MHz, and are set to take over Sunyani. It was acquired from Cedilife-Tech.

It was acquired in 2017 to be operated in Berekum in the Eastern part of Berekum as Golden City Radio but due to unknown reasons has been transferred to the new owners.
 
The station will compete in the mass market with most of its programs in the local languages.
