Former Hearts Of Oak midfielder, Emmanuel Mintah has claimed that the club sacked him with no tangible reasons.

Mintah joined the Phobians from Ghana Premier League side Karela United FC, but was released less than three months after failing to meet the expectations of the club.

This became visible after the arrival of Liberty Professionals’ Frederick Ansah Botchway – who plays the same role.

But Mintah has revealed that he was sent packing after coach Kim Grant – who signed him – was dismissed.

“I have been supporting Accra Hearts of Oak since my childhood.I was called to the office of Mr Frederick Moore one day,he told me the club wants me out,” he told Sunyani-based Space FM

“I asked him why,he was not able to give me any tangible reasons. But I told him pointblank that,I saw it coming.
