Daniel Armartey is set to leave Leicester City in the summer transfer window according to his manager, Yusif Alhassan Chibsah.
Amartey, 25, has struggled to earn a permanent place in the Foexe’s squad despite his versatility after recovering from an injury.
According to Chibsah, his client has become surplus to requirement having struggled to get much playing time.
“He’s been out of favour under the new gaffer so we will see how best we can solve that issue,” Chibsah told Starr Sports.
“He is still with the Foxes but he is not been getting more playing time due to the fact that he got injured but after his injury, they consider him as surplus so there should be a way out,” he added
He joined former English Premier League Champions; Leicester City from FC Copenhagen in 2014 on a transfer fee around €1.80 million.
Amartey will be saying goodbye to the King Power Stadium should a lucrative contract is secured in search of greener pastures.
