COVID-19: Former Berekum Chelsea CEO Osei Boateng donates money to local-based players

Mr. Ernest Osei Boateng, who is a former Berekum Chelsea FC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has initiated a move to support players in the Bono and Ahafo regions with maximum of GHS 300 amid the COVID-19 disease crisis.

Speaking on Space FM, Buhari Zakari who is the Personal Assistant confirmed that the initiative has already started with the first Step of collecting data of the players before making the payments.

Yes,my Boss has players welfare at heart and has started already getting over 40 players details who are from sunyani and who also plays or played at least a match for their respective clubs being in Division One or Premier League,Buhari Zakari told Space Fm-Sunyani.

Mr Ernest Osei Boateng, today made several donations to the Muslims in the media and Sports Callers ahead of this year’s Ramadan in Sunyani.
