Chris Hughton must consult Bilbao coach on how to use striker Inaki Williams – Ex-Black Stars defender

Former Ghana defender Amankwah Mireku wants coach Chris Hughton to seek direction from Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde on how to make the most of striker Inaki Williams.
Since joining the Black Stars in December 2022, the Spanish-born Ghanaian attacker has failed to score.
Interestingly, Inaki has been on a satisfying run for his club in La Liga in the 2023 /24 season, having netted four goals with two assists in nine games.
Mireku is convinced that the forward’s poor show for the senior national team can be resolved when Hughton inquires from Athletic Bilbao gaffer Ernesto Valverde.
“So why continue giving him playing time in the team? To prove what?
“If the coach feels he is too important to lose, then there should be a consultation with the coach of Athletic Bilbao on how to unlock the player so he can score goals for Ghana,” Mireku told Happy FM.
Ghana failed to score in their recent friendlies in the United States, conceding six goals and having two shots on target.
The two Fifa World Cup qualifiers in October presents Inaki another game for to score for Ghana.
