He expressed the team’s commitment to progressing to the second round and assured that they will not squander their opportunities in the upcoming match.

In the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Dreams FC, the Ghana Premier League representatives and current Ghana FA Cup champions, achieved a 1-1 draw against FC Milo de Kankan of Guinea in Conakry.

The return leg of this fixture will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 3:00 PM local time.

Ahead of the game, Ameenu Shardow spoke to Onua Sports, expressing confidence in the team’s abilities under the leadership of experienced coach Karim Zito. He affirmed that Dreams FC, with its array of talents, is poised to triumph over Milo FC on Ghanaian soil.

Shardow, who also serves as the Black Stars Team Manager, conveyed the team’s determination to achieve a positive outcome, ensuring their progression to the next round. He encouraged Ghanaians to rally behind the team by attending the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He extended an invitation to the general public, urging them to come out in support of Dreams FC on Sunday and become a part of the winning spirit.

“Dreams FC will ensure Ghana get it’s slot back by at least reaching the group stage of the competition. Our players have assured us they will do the needful, so we will plead with Ghanaians to come in their numbers to support us at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday,” he said.

To facilitate attendance, Dreams FC announced the ticket prices for the match: GHC 10 for the popular stand, GHC 20 for both lower VIP and VVIP wings, and GHC 50 for the VVIP stand.

Milo FC is scheduled to arrive in Ghana today at 4:00 PM in preparation for this crucial game.

The victor of this tie will proceed to face Kallon FC of Sierra Leone in the second and final round of qualifiers for a spot in the group phase of the competition.
