Breaking News: Techiman City secures injunction against GFA restraining them from holding Congress
1 min readDivision One League side Techiman City FC has secured an injunction against the Ghana Football Association restraining them from holding its 26th Ordinary Congress on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
The Division One League outfit owned by controversial Charles Kwadwo Ntim affectionately known as Micky Charles is angered by the Ghana FA’s Executive Council’s decision not to accept proposals from its members to revise portions of the GFA statutes.
According to the second-tier side, the football governing body has violated parts of its own statues in calling for the 26th Ordinary Congress. It is therefore asking the court to force the association to enforce its own laws and regulations.
The club is seeking 8 reliefs from the court.
