Ashgold sign Asante Kotoko target Yaw Arnol
1 min readAshantiGold SC have acquired the services of Asante Kotoko target Yaw Arnol from Bechem United, Footydreamsgh.com can report.
The talented winger penned down a three-year deal on Tuesday at the office of the club President Dr. Kweku Frimpong in Kumasi.
The deal is reportedly around GhS 30,000 according to Kumasi FM.
The 22-year-old moved to Spain to join second-tier side CF Fuenlabrada in 2017 after an impressive performance in the 2015/2016 football season. He, however, rejoined the Hunters after a two-year spell in 2019.
Arnol was adjudged best player after the 2016 Game FA Cup after helping Bechem lift the coveted trophy for the very time in the club’s history.
AshantiGold have been given the green light to represent Ghana in next season’s Caf Confederation Cup, and Arnol is expected to play a crucial role for the Miners in the Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup campaigns.
The former Ghana U17 player has been in the books of the Porcupine Warriors for sometime now but has ended up in Obuasi where he will plying his trade for the next three years.
