1 min readThe phrase ‘new normal’ has gained widespread usage since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The enormity of change the virus has brought gave birth to the aforementioned phrase – which has seen a new way of life contrary to the business as usual trend.
That is from the health perspective. What about the football arena? One club that is seeking to make judicious use of these uncertain times is Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The former African champions have put in place a nine-member board of directors to steer the affairs of the club while they seek to robe in a new management to be led by the refined Nana Yaw Amponsah – bar any last minute change of heart.
Whiles the top hierarchy of the club are putting in the administrative structures,the supporters are seriously engrossed in mobilizing their numerous supporters scattered across the length and breadth of the country.
The leadership of the National Circles Council will soon dole out the digitial supporters database with faithfuls of the Porcupine Warriors required to complete the registration process in order to become a card-holding member of the club.
