Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu dreams of playing at Barcelona one day

Asante Kotoko midfielder, Richard Senanu says he wants to play for Spanish giants Barcelona one day if he gets the opportunity.

The Porcupine Warriors midfield kingpin – who is a fan of the La Liga disclosed his admiration for the style of play exhibited in one of the biggest leagues in the World.

He disclosed that he wants to play for Barcelona one day.

”Barcelona is my team. I like the team and the way they play.  l really love with their style of play,” he told Agboo FM.

“I want to play Barcelona one day,” he added.

Senanu recently returned from an injury, which saw him missed the first half of the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League. Prior to the unfortunate incident. He was a key member of the Reds army which played in the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup campaign. But had to go to the treatment room following an injury he sustained in their game against Zesco United.

Asante Kotoko have been instrumental in the player’s recovery, sending him to Germany for surgery last year.

Senanu expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Porcupine Warriors for their assistance.

”Kotoko have done a lot for me and they have really helped me,” said Senanu.

He is expected to make a return to competitive football when the Ghana Premier League resumes in October.
