Asante Kotoko announce two pre-season friendlies on Wednesday

Asante Kotoko is set to participate in two additional pre-season friendly matches in Beposo on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

The first match will kick off at 9:00 AM against PAC Academy, a newly promoted Division One League side based in Offinso.

Following that, at 3:30 PM, the team will face another Division One League outfit Asekem FC at the Dr K.K Sarpong Stadium.

These matches have been organized to refine the team’s strategies and evaluate their readiness for the upcoming football season.

The club on Sunday held their initial preseason game, drawing one and winning one.

Coach Ogum’s outfit drew 1-1 with lower-tier side Kharis FC before thrashing Kumasi Cornerstones FC 5-1 at the same venue.

Kotoko are currently in Beposo preparing for the upcoming season scheduled to start September 15, 2023.

The club will host Heart Of Lions in their first Premier League encounter.
