The Black Stars head coach has recalled the duo for next week’s round of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has included Justice Blay and Yusif Mubarik in his squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principle.
Akonnor has recalled Asante Kotoko defender Yusif Mubarik and Justice Blay of Medeama SC who were initially dropped from the squad list after commencing camping with the team for the past weeks.
Our outfit understands that the two players have been reconsidered following the unavailability of Amiens SC duo Nicholas Opoku and Emmanuel Lomotey due to the COVID-19 travel ban in France.
Ghana will take on South Africa on March 25 in Johannesburg before engaging Sao Tome and Principe on March 29, 2021 at the Accra Sports stadium.
The Black Stars sit at the top of Group C with 9 points and are in search of one of the tickets to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
