Ghana coach Chris Hughton is expected to make changes to his starting line-up against the Central Africa Republic following injuries to some of his first-team players.

The Black Stars will battle the Central Africa outfit in the final day of qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The game is set to be played at the Baba Yara Stadium, where the Black Stars have not lost in over two decades across all competitions.

The Black Stars need a point to book their ticket to Ivory Coast while CAR are in need of a win to also qualify from Group E.

Ahead of the crucial fixture, Ghana will be without several key players.

Deputy captain Thomas Partey is out due to injury, while Mohammed Salisu, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Wollacott, Kamal Deen Sulemana and recently Joseph Paintsil have all been ruled out through injuries.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi is expected to start in the posts in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Alidu Seidu will be at the right side in a four back system. Alexander Djiku will likely partner Joseph Aidoo at the heart of defence, as well as Gideon Mensah.

Abdul Salis Samed could play alongside Baba Iddrisu in the absence of Partey.

A front four of Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, captain Andre Ayew and Antoine Semenyo are expected to commence.

Ghana’s Probable lineup;

Lawrence Ati Zigi
Alidu Seidu
Gideon Mensah
