2023/24 GPL: Dreams FC battle newcomers Nations FC on Wednesday
1 min readNations FC will be playing their first league game in the history of the club after qualifying in zone two of the Access Bank Division One league against Dreams FC on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Dawu.
Dreams won the FA Cup trophy last season and finished 6th place in the league table but lost their super cup encounter against Medeama SC at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Still Believe side have boosted their squad with experienced forward John Antwi, Enoch Abuu, Francis Odoom and Richard Mensah from Kotoku Royals.
After qualifying for the premier league, Nations FC appointed former Bechem United head coach, Kassim Mingle Ocansey with Brazilian forward De Santana also joining the team.
The team has been boosted with the likes of Victor Oduro, Nafiu Sulemana, Barimah Baah, Razak Simpson, Emmanuel Kontor and Prince Acquah.
The game will be broadcast live on Startimes Adepa Channel 247 on Wednesday at 3pm.
